If you're looking to become a Tentrr CampKeeper, we would love to give you more of an idea of what we're looking for!
Privacy and Seclusion: Campsites should be fully private, out of view of any houses, roads, or other campsites with very little to zero road noise. We want to give Campers the experience of sharing nature without any distractions.
Amenities: All campsites should be able to provide water to Campers for drinking and cooking, as well as a refill spot should Campers need more water during their trip. If you have less than 20 acres of land, you'll also need to provide a toilet option that is environmentally friendly.
Land Features: Beautiful features play a part in the decision making process! A pond, a stream, breathtaking views, a secluded meadow, lovely woods…these are also what make Tentrr camps, not just camps, but destinations for thousands of campers.
Amount of Land: The rule of thumb is a minimum of 10 acres. But the most important criteria is simply privacy - for your campers, your neighbors and yourself. We do have remarkable campsites that are tucked away in the woods on 5 or 6 acres. Beautiful features play a part in the decision making process. A pond, a stream, breathtaking views, a secluded meadow, lovely woods…these are also what make Tentrr camps [not just camps but] destinations for thousands of campers.
Hands-On CampKeepers: We're looking for folks who live on their land or who are situated no more than 15 minutes away from their land- you'll need to head to your campsite in-between each reservation to reset your campsite and may need to be available should there be in-reservation needs at your campsite.
